IBT Group was established in 2000 as a firm specializing in developing, proposing, and assisting system integration solutions based on innovative technologies in the field of high efficiency energy generation. The company relies on over 20 years of experience in this field, focusing on both natural and biogas high-tech cogeneration and trigeneration services based on microturbines. The IBT fleet has reached over 260 installed microturbines and 25 MW in 2019, mainly providing turn-key solutions for industrial facilities (offering special applications for the food & beverage, paper, and textile sectors among others), the hospitality sector, landfills, WWTP, HEV, marine, Energy Service Companies (ESCOs), and utilities. IBT Group is headquartered in Klagenfurt (Austria) with a branch in Treviso (Italy).
